Anne was born and raised in the greater Nashville area. She is proud to have worked for the past twelve years serving clients in Middle Tennessee communities and in partnership with local architects, builders, and developers. Her experience working closely with general contractors makes Anne a unique asset and advocate for her clients. She is committed to encouraging productive and positive working relationships in each project.
Over the years, Anne has planned or participated in the planning of 94 Residential Additions, 96 Residential Renovation / Remodels, 17 Residential New Builds, 13 Commercial New Builds or Remodels, 11 Institutional projects and Master Plans, 8 Historical Property Projects, and more. These projects are located in cities and jurisdictions across the state of Tennessee.
Anne is a licensed architect in the state of Tennessee with the potential to pursue reciprocity in other states. She is a member of the American institute of Architects, NCARB, and the ICAA [Institute for Classical Architecture and Art]. She is currently pursuing her Certificate in Classical Architecture through the ICAA. Anne currently lives in Williamson County with her husband and three children.
Experience
Education
Anne is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville’s College of Architecture + Design. She graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 2012 and was the recipient of the Tau Sigma Delta Bronze Medal Award - the highest award given to an undergraduate thesis project. She was the recipient of multiple design awards throughout her college tenure. In her final years, she served as a teaching assistant and summer assistant lecturer for several courses taught within the College.
Practice
After completing her architectural internship, Anne completed her licensure in 2018. She practiced as an architect working exclusively with Exodus Industries, a respected local general contractor, until 2024 when she began her own architectural practice.
Study Abroad
During her time at the College of Architecture + Design, Anne studied abroad for one semester in Helsinki, Finland at the Aalto University, one semester in Weimar, Germany at the Bauhaus University, and completed a sketching tour through Sweden documenting select works of architect Sigurd Lewerentz. She also travelled through France, Italy, England, Switzerland, and briefly in Estonia studying the architecture of each of these countries.
Internships
Anne began her internship experience at University with Timescapelab - a design collaborative headed by top professors within the UTK’s College of Architecture + Design. Upon graduation, Anne accepted a position as an Architectural Designer with Bauer Askew Architecture - an award winning Nashville firm - and began her practical experience in pursuit of her architectural license.
